Hi, my name is Stephanie– but most people call me Stevie (think Nicks, only with bigger hair and slightly less vocal talent). I’m currently a junior in college and this is my first real blog.

If you couldn’t tell, I love books. And this isn’t like the feeling I have towards chocolate truffles or cute stationery— we’re talking some serious Cory & Tapanga, Barack & Michelle, Aladdin & Abu kind of love. In the words of an old friend: it’s deep, and it’s real.

Unlike your typical book-a-day blog, I’m hoping Book Turtle will become a space for much more than reviews and critiques. I started this site as a way to share random thoughts about the world through a literary lens– an odd assortment of ideas, reflections and findings from one book lover to another. So whether you’re a regular subscriber or stopping by for the first time, I hope you stumble upon something significant.
